College Admissions Representatives
Central Catholic High School welcomes College Admissions Representatives to campus. This page is a resource for representatives who are looking to visit Central Catholic.
Welcome, College Admissions Officers!
Central Catholic High School, a college preparatory high school for boys, is guided by the educational principals of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. Students come from the City of Pittsburgh and many surrounding suburbs and represent more than 115 grade schools and 100 parishes. Current enrollment is approximately 870 students, with a typical graduating class of about 200 seniors each year. Traditionally, 98% of graduates continue their education beyond high school, with over 90% choosing to attend 4-year colleges and universities.
Central Catholic is ideally located in the Oakland neighborhood within the city limits of Pittsburgh. We are situated between Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh which provides many opportunities for our students to enroll in College in High School (CiHS) courses and access university facilities for other classes and projects.

Schedule a Visit
Central Catholic welcomes admissions representatives to schedule a high school visit with us and typically we host representatives from over 100 colleges and universities each year. We strongly encourage our juniors and seniors to attend these visits to learn more about the colleges in which they are interested. All high school visits take place in the College Counseling Office located on the second floor of the building.
