Director of Alumni Update
After 10 years of dedicated service, Jeff Folino has made the decision to resign as Director of Alumni Relations.
To the Central Catholic Community,
I write today to share the news that after 10 years of dedicated service, Jeff Folino has made the decision to resign as Director of Alumni Relations. A 1975 graduate, Jeff joined our staff in 2006 under Brother Richard Grzeskiewicz to spearhead Central’s alumni outreach efforts.
During Jeff’s decade of leadership, Central has experienced a significant increase in alumni engagement—from local volunteers serving as guest lecturers, to those who welcome students into their workplaces for experiential learning and observation; from lively campus reunions, to dynamic regional gatherings; from heartfelt Legacy receptions, to memorable Hall of Fame inductions. Jeff has mentored a number of students who aspired to be journalists, collaborated with alumni who wished to make meaningful and transformational financial gifts to the school, and, in more recent years, helped us embrace other important members of our community through annual events like the welcome Mass and picnic. Through his passion and commitment, Jeff has created a foundation of programs and partnerships that will celebrate, serve, and build Viking nation, Central’s traditions, and our special brotherhood for many years to come. We are deeply indebted to Jeff and thank him sincerely for his service, and we wish him well in his new endeavors.
Personally, I am grateful for his wise counsel and encouragement. Jeff has helped to ensure a successful completion to our historic campaign.
As we move forward in 2016, we trust that God’s hand will continue to direct, guide, and bless our work and all the undertakings of our community.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts forever!
Brother Robert Schaefer, FSC
