Central Catholic Endowment Funds
A strong endowment is an essential component of a successful independent school. With our Lasallian mission of “education for all” and the constantly increasing need for tuition assistance, Central Catholic’s endowment fund has become critical to our annual budget. A robust endowment provides relief for the operating budget and provides a reliable stream of financial aid.
Central currently has a “common fund” made of charitable gifts from many donors, as well as approximately 100 named funds, established by individuals or families (e.g. The Staley Family Fund). Named funds create a receptacle for future charitable donations and ensure a sustained source of tuition assistance dollars. Endowed gifts are invested in perpetuity and provide a predictable source of revenue through earned income on the principal.
Named funds can be established with a minimum contribution of $25,000. This can be a one-time gift or can be payable over a period of five years.
