​Environmental Science Students Go Behind-The-Scenes at The Pittsburgh Zoo

On Thursday January 25, Mrs. Cassie Sirockman-Bell and Mr. Sean Crummie took students in the Environmental Science course on a "Behind the Scenes" tour of the Pittsburgh Zoo. On the tour, students spoke with zoo keepers and educators about careers, sustainability methods and ways to promote positive environmental change.

Students were able to go behind-the-scenes of the zoo, including getting a special tour by the tigers/lions zookeeper, meeting 17-week old tiger cubs, and getting hands-on in the aquarium with Tinky, the Macaroni Penguin.
