Mr. Matthew Sudnik, ’01, was honored by PICT Classic Theatre with the Anne D. Mullaney Inspiration Award on Saturday evening at the opening of their production of Oliver Twist. This award is given to one who, in the opinion of PICT’s board, has given exceptional service or inspiration to the company. The board agreed, when nominating Mr. Sudnik, that he has not only shown tremendous support to the work of PICT, especially in the field of education, but also is an inspiration to others in the education sector for his determination to make the arts and humanities a central focus of our responsibility in teaching the young. Mr. Sudnik designed a new course – Honors Humanities – for Central Catholic, which involves the study of humanities through literature and theater.
