​Pre-Engineering Students Receive Top Honors

Central Catholic students in the pre-engineering program recently participated in a regional artificial limb design contest. Four teams represented Central Catholic and the winners were announced this week.

Receiving top honors in the Quality of Life improvement division with their mountain biking solution for a one-armed person was the team of Gennaro Vallant, Hunter Steele, and Drew Cunningham.

Receiving top honors for the best incorporation of science with their office assistance device was the team of Aidan Towsley, Eddie Opalko, and Mike Pasquarelli.

Receiving top honors for the best use of math to analyze and optimize their design was the team of Alex Boone, Daniele Smith, and Jordan Woodward.
