Antonino Castellano, ’16 received the St. Timothy Award from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. The St. Timothy Award is a national award given annually to twelve young people in the Diocese who particularly exemplify the qualities of moral integrity, prayer, good works, and Christian leadership in their parish or high school community. Hailing from Saint Raphael Parish in Morningside, Antonino has participated actively in Central Catholic’s apostolic life in establishing F.I.D.E., a student-led faith discussion group, and in serving on Lasallian Ministry’s 2015-16 student executive board. He also writes for the Harlequin student literary magazine, plays in the jazz band, and runs track and field.
