CCHS Schedule for Tomorrow 3/13 and Next Week
Central Catholic High School will continue with its usual in-person class schedule on Friday, March 13, 2020. Students should report to Central Catholic tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2020.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Central Catholic High School will continue with its usual in-person class schedule on Friday, March 13, 2020. Students should report to Central Catholic tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2020.
At the direction of the Diocese of Pittsburgh (please see letter below for details), we are holding a teacher in-service day on Monday, March 16, 2020. This will provide our teachers and administrators with an additional opportunity to strategically plan for the implementation of alternative learning experiences for our students should a long-term closure be necessary.
The in-service day on Monday, March 16 will take the place of our previously scheduled in-service day on Friday, March 20.
We will still have the Principal's holiday on March 23, 2020. Any student who had signed up to take his raffle ticket holiday on Thursday, March 19 will be moved to Friday, March 20, 2020.
We appreciate your patience and support in this time of uncertainty.
Fraternally,
Brother Tony Baginski, FSC
Principal
Dear Catholic School Families,
These are challenging days. Please continue to fill your homes with prayer and look forward to a time when this is all behind us. In the meantime, I am asking that we work together as we do what is best for our families, staff, and communities.
As we continue to monitor the directives and recommendations in an ever-changing environment, we are holding a teacher in-service day on Monday, March 16, 2020. This will provide our teachers and administrators with the opportunity to strategically plan for the implementation of alternative learning experiences for our students should a long-term closure be necessary. Please be aware that students may be bringing home additional materials as part of the plan.
There will be no school in session for students on Monday, March 16.
At this time, we are planning for students to return to classes on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, unless circumstances dictate otherwise.
This is a rapidly changing situation, and we are monitoring and taking guidance from federal state and local agencies. Please prepare for the possibility of closures. Check the link below to the coronavirus (COVID-19) page on the diocesan website:

We are taking these actions to protect our communities from the spread of COVID-19. As more information surfaces, our recommendations will evolve to best serve our families. We will continue to send updates as information becomes available.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Our prayers go out to all those around the world and here at home confronted by this virus.
God bless you,
Michelle A. Peduto
