PA Governor's STEM Competition
The PA Governor's STEM Competition consists of a team of students who work diligently towards competing in an annual themed competition focused on exposing students to STEM jobs, skills and concepts.
The PA Governor's STEM competition requires a team of five students to come up with an idea that can solve current problems faced by people in the state of Pennsylvania. While working closely with a business partner, students use their STEM skills to build a working model using engineering design methods. During the competition, the team presents their work to judges from the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Regional competitions occur in February and national competitions occur in March/April.
