Make Your Gift Go Even Further!
Central Catholic Students Need Your Support More Than Ever
What is the Viking Match?
This annual campaign usually celebrates Central’s spirit of competition between alumni classes. The class with the highest participation rate earns bragging rights and a spot on the now famous Viking Cup.
The Class of ’60 and the Class of ’95 have established a history of finishing strong! Though, in 2019, many classes came together to make landing in first place a real possibility. ’60 and ’95 saw some serious competition; it was a very tight race. Central Catholic is grateful for this enthusiasm and support!
We look forward to returning to a spirited, lighthearted contest again next year.
Coming Together as a CommUNITY
Due to the global pandemic and the seriousness of our current situation, this year, instead of invoking the Viking spirit of competition, Central Catholic is asking our alumni and friends to rise to the occasion, as one strong community. These are indeed challenging times for everyone, but we can respond with unity and greatness.
In one short month, our world has changed, but Central’s mission remains. Our ability to provide tuition assistance to 40% of our students has always depended on your generosity. During this time of great need, we anticipate assisting even more young men with tuition costs. Many of our students’ families are facing financial challenges they never saw coming.
Make an Impact
Each year during the Viking Match, a matching pool of funds is provided by the Board of Directors and a generous anonymous donor. They are still “all in." Thanks to their generosity, we ask you to consider making a gift at www.centralcatholichs.com/give between May 11 - May 15 and it will be partially matched, making your gift go even further for our young men.
This is not an easy time for us to ask you to consider making a gift, but we are all in this together. Throughout our nearly 100-year history, other generations of Central students faced hard times and significant disruptions. The Central Catholic community stood united through those trying events. Now, we stand together again…as Vikings.
