Senior Graduation Information: May 2019

April 29

• Seniors receive 18 tickets for admission to Soldiers & Sailors
  (All financial obligations must be up to date) (If a family needs less than 18 tickets, please return the extra to Academic Office in The Stem Building)

May 6 - 16

• AP Exams

May 6 - 14

• Senior Final Exams – during Regular Class Days

May 10

• St. La Salle Holiday - NO SCHOOL
• Junior/Senior Prom at Marriott Pittsburgh City Center
  • 7 - 11 p.m.
  • Each student and parent is required to sign a prom agreement form
  • Students with outstanding fees or those with major disciplinary infractions may not be permitted to attend

May 14

• Last day of regular classes for seniors

May 15 - 16

• Exam Schedule Days

May 17

• Exam make up day

May 20

• Baccalaureate Rehearsal at McGonigle Theater
  • 8 a.m.
  • Students must be in dress code
  • Attendance is required
  • Caps and gowns will be distributed (to those who have all responsibilities settled) 

May 21

• Baccalaureate Mass at St. Paul Cathedral, Oakland
  • 7:30 p.m.
  • All students are required to attend
  • Students may invite as many guests as they like; no ticket required
  • Liturgy lasts approximately 1.5 hours
  • Dress clothes required; suit coat unnecessary 
  • Gowns only (honor cords if applicable to individual students) 

May 22

• School holiday for seniors

May 23

• Graduation rehearsal at Soldiers & Sailors, Oakland
  • 9 a.m.
  • Attendance is required
  • Students must be in dress code 
  • Report cards will be emailed 

May 24

• School holidays for seniors

May 26

• Commencement Exercises at Soldiers & Sailors Hall, Oakland
  • 2:30 p.m.
  • Students are to report to side corridors by  2 p.m.
  • Each student permitted to invite up to 18 guests; admission is by ticket only.
  • Dress code is required; suit coat unnecessary
  • Ceremony lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes 

 

* All seniors should make sure that ALL tuition, fees, AP fees, textbooks, ipads, library books & fines, guidance fees, athletic uniforms, outstanding detentions and ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS are satisfied PRIOR to the rehearsal on Monday, May 20.

Failure to do so prior to this date WILL CAUSE A DELAY IN RECEIVING YOUR CAP & GOWN!!!
