Junior Selected as Best Entry in Carnegie Mellon Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Writing Awards
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Writing Awards
Congratulations to Nicholas Anglin, '20, for being selected as the best entry from Central Catholic in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Writing Awards at Carnegie Mellon University.
These awards are open to all high school and college students in the Pittsburgh area and any remote CMU locations. The contest seeks personal narratives dealing with individual experience of racial or cultural difference or personal reflections on Dr. King's legacy that rely on concrete detail.
Nick will receive his award certificate on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Carnegie Mellon University.
